Andover Public Schools Closed Tuesday Due To Anticipated Storm
Officials said the closure is due to the "timing" and "impact" of the storm, which could add 6 inches of snow Monday night and Tuesday.
ANDOVER, MA — Andover Public Schools officials announced Monday that the district's schools will be closed Tuesday due to weather.
In a Tweet, school officials wrote: "On Tuesday, February 28th, Andover Public Schools will be closed due to the timing and impact of the anticipated storm. Stay safe!"

A winter weather advisory is in effect in eastern Massachusetts until 7 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. The region could see up to 6 inches of snow.

According to the NWS, there could be a total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. During the day on Tuesday, there is a chance of 1 to 3 inches of additional snow.
