This one-of-a-kind, original ballet, only performed by the New England Civic Ballet Company, is returning to the stage after 5 years. The Enchanted Glen ballet is based on Irish mystical themes. The story line was envisioned and written by NECB’s non-profit artistic director Mrs. Phyllis George. After receiving permission from the musical group Secret Garden to use their lilting and energetic music, she and Mrs. Roshni Pecora choreographed each scene to the Celtic music. Five years ago, the ballet entertained sell-out crowds. Dancers of all ages from throughout the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire auditioned, rehearsed, and are set to perform this unique ballet.
