Andover Schools: 'We Had Anticipated' 1st Day Bus Challenges
The district is aware of pickup delays and working on addressing them, it said Wednesday.

ANDOVER, MA — Andover school officials are aware of busing delays around the district Wednesday and working on addressing them, the district said in a communication to parents.
Many parents complained on social media Wednesday about delays in their kids' bus transportation for the first day of school.
"We had anticipated challenges to our school transportation for the first day of school due to construction and additional factors," Assistant Superintendent Paul Szymanski said in the communication. "Our goal is to provide our students with safe and efficient transportation to start the school year, however, we are aware some of our students were delayed in being picked up at their bus stop this morning."
