Andover Selectman Dan Koh To Rejoin Marty Walsh: Reports

Koh, a selectman since 2019, was previously Marty Walsh's chief of staff. He reportedly is reprising that role at the Department of Labor.

ANDOVER, MA — Andover Selectman Dan Koh is heading to Washington and returning to Marty Walsh's service, according to multiple reports Thursday.

Boston Globe and Politico both reported that Koh would be Walsh's chief of staff at the Department of Labor. Patch has reached out to Koh for confirmation.

Koh previously served as Walsh's chief of staff from 2014 to 2017, during Walsh's first term. Koh narrowly lost a 2018 run for congress before being elected to the Andover Select Board in 2019.

Walsh is still awaiting confirmation as the secretary of labor. Koh's job in Washington will begin Tuesday, Politico's Stephanie Murray reported.
