Andover Sending Four Teams to the Playoffs
Four Andover varsity sports teams are moving onto the playoffs in their divisions in Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association.

There are just a bunch of proud Andover parents out there this week, with four Andover sports teams competing with the best in their division in the playoffs.
Both the girls and boys basketball teams as well girls gymnastics team are all scheduled to play this week in the first round of the MIAA playoffs. Six Andover skiiers, both girls and guys, will be competing in a playoff tournament this week as well.

- The Girls Basketball Team, whose record is currently 12-3-0, will be playing Somerville in their first playoff game on Monday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. in Andover.
- The Boys Basketball team moves onto the playoffs to face Medford on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in Andover, seeded 8.
- Andover Girls Gymnastics ranked 3rd among the top four teams that will move on to the MIAA Girls Gymnastics State Championship Meet at the DCU Center on Wednesday, February 27 at 6:30pm.
- Four girls and two guys will compete in the upcoming playoff tournament at the 2013 Apline Ski Tournament at the Berkshire East Ski Center on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 9:30 a.m.
