Andover U14 Girls Win Essex County Title

Andover Shock, the Division 1 U14 girls soccer team won the Essex County Championship Sunday.

The Andover U14 Division 1 Girls soccer team, Andover Shock, won the Essex County Champrioship at Pingree School Sunday, June 17.

The shock battled Marblehead and came out the victors, 5-0.

According to assistant coach Ingrid O'Hara, this win has made Andover Shock the only team in Essex county history to win at Pingree three years in a row.

The 14-year-old and under girls will advance to the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions in Lancaster, MA next weekend.

According to the Massachusetts Youth Soccer wesbite, Andover Shock will be playing Friday, June 22 at 2:30 p.m. and Saturday June 23 at 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
