Andover Youths to Perform With Boston Youth Symphony

Five students from Andover will be perform at the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras’ final concert of the season on Sunday, June 16, at 3 p.m. at Sanders Theatre at Harvard University.

Boston Youth Symphony students will be perform Ravel’s La valse (with Federico Cortese, Conductor) and Debussy’s La Mer (Adrian Slywotzky, Conductor) and Repertory Orchestra will perform Stravinsky’s A Firebird Suite (1919) with Mark Miller conducting.

• Katharine (Katie) Yu, Andover, Violin, 15

Every Sunday for more than 9 months, these young musicians have spent hours rehearsing together, sharing their love of music and disseminating this passion with audience members at concerts throughout the season.
