Andover's ALKU Again Named A Boston Globe Top Workplace
The consulting and defense contracting firm was named the sixth-best medium-sized company in Massachusetts to work at.
ANDOVER, MA — Andover's ALKU was again named one of the best places to work in Massachusetts Wednesday in the latest edition of the Boston Globe's annual "Best Workplaces" special issue.
The consulting and defense contracting firm was ranked the state's sixth-best "medium-sized" company to work at, a category for companies with 100 to 249 employees in the Bay State.
ALKU fell one spot from the 2020 list, when it was ranked fifth among medium-sized companies. The Andover business has been on the Boston Globe ranking for nine years.

ALKU has 230 Massachusetts employees and 280 across the country, according to the list. The company says it has over 400 employees worldwide.

The firm is headquartered at 200 Brickstone Square, Suite 503 in Andover.
The Boston Globe worked with the Pennsylvania-based "employee research and consulting firm" Energage to anonymously survey employees for the 2021 ranking.
