For her performance, Adams was named First Team All-Ivy and National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) First Team All-Northeast, becoming just the ninth player in Brown program history to earn the First-Team All-Region honors.

"Lucy is an extremely talented hockey player whose ability to eliminate defenders allows our team to play numbers up in our attack," Brown head coach Britt Broady said after the season.

Broady continued: "(Adams) is one of the best midfielders in our region and will grow to become one of the best in the country. Lucy is also a wonderful teammate whose humility and enjoyment of field hockey will lead this program in future years. Brown field hockey is developing at a sharp trajectory and Lucy is a huge part of that growth."

The other Massachusetts native joining Brown on the U21 Women's National Team is Ellie Todd, a goalkeeper from Wellesley, who just completed her freshman season at Wake Forest.
