The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.

Friday, Feb. 3

At 5:33 a.m. a caller reported a possible intruder in his home on Eastman Road. The alarm system was tripped, but the caller did not see anyone in the house. The alarm activation was eventually reported accidental because of balloons inside one of the rooms.

At 9:31 a.m. a caller reported that her mail was stolen on Main Street.

At 12:21 p.m. a rabid raccoon was reported outside of on Shawsheen Road. The animal ran back into the woods eventually.

At 2:45 p.m. a motorist was given a verbal warning for turning around where prohibited on Dascomb Road.

At 3:51 p.m. a caller reported a skateboarder was nearly hitting people on Main Street. Officers did not see the skateboard upon response to the call.

At 10:57 p.m. police arrested Philip Desjardins, 32, of 5 Tasker Lane, Newmarket, N.H, on Stevens Street. Desjardins was charged with disorderly conduct.
