Bancroft Topping Out Ceremony on Wednesday

Town and School officials will be celebrating the completion of a major milestone for the second of three phases for the new Bancroft Elementary School.

This Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m. please join Skanska USA and Bancroft Elementary School in Andover for a Topping Out Ceremony to celebrate the completion of a major milestone for the second of three planned phases for the new school.

As part of the ceremony, the students of Bancroft Elementary School will sing the Pledge of Allegiance as the American flag is raised and the steel beam is lifted onto the school’s frame (please see additional event logistics below and attached).

The project includes the construction of a new 106,486-square-foot building adjacent to the existing Bancroft Elementary School that first opened in 1969. The new building is designed to accommodate 680 students and will include classrooms, administrative space, as well as a library, gymnasium, playfield and cafeteria.
