Cause of Wood Estate Fire Unknown

Fire officials are still investigating what caused the blaze at the historical Wood Estate property Monday night.

The building — a former wagon shop and later the Arden Casino — at the Wood Estate was destroyed, officials said in a Eagle-Tribune report.

Andover Fire, Andover Police, Mass State Police, the State Fire Marshal and Department of Fire Services are all aiding in the investigation into the blaze, which took more than 12 hours to extinguish. There has been no speculation into the cause of the two-alarm fire.
