Chemical Accident Sends Victim to Hospital
The police log for Thursday, Feb. 24, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Thursday, Feb. 24
At 7:51 a.m. a motor vehicle accident was reported on River Road. Injuries were reported and one individual was transported to Lawrence General Hospital.

At 9:10 a.m. vandalism to a motor vehicle was reported on Memorial Circle. A resident’s tires were slashed.
At 5:17 p.m. police attempted to serve paperwork involving a “stalking denial order” to a Crescent Drive resident. Police did not find the individual at home.

At 6:40 p.m. an industrial accident was reported on Burtt Road. Police reported that chemicals had gotten in an individual’s eyes on Burtt Road and had to be transported to Lawrence General Hospital.
At 6:59 p.m. a caller reported that his motor vehicle was broken in to on River Road. A computer bag, as well as other items, were stolen from the vehicle.
At 8:12 p.m. an officer spoke with some kids out by the town maintenance building on Red Spring Road. They were snowboarding around the high school and were told to clear up snow they had moved around for snowboarding obstacles.
At 8:18 p.m. a caller reported that his motor vehicle was broken in to while parked at the Chateau on River Road.
