Church Shed Broken Into on Lowell Street

Friday, June 22

At 8:10 a.m. an officer reported a single car crash on Sherbourne Street. The officer said the truck struck a tree and took it down.

At 8:58 a.m. the Tree Department removed tree brush blocking a speed limit sign on Haverhill Street.

At 9:11 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Main Street.

At 11:22 a.m. a caller reported a breaking and entering into a dwelling on Glenwood Road.

Saturday, June 23

At 10:25 a.m. a caller reported a hit and run on River Road. She said that someone hit her Chevy Blazer without leaving a note.

At 2:55 p.m. a maintenance worker reported that the shed at a Lowell Street church was broken into recently. Detectives responded and took photos.

At 7:05 p.m. a dumpster fire was reported behind a school on Central Street. Two witnesses reported seeing a vehicle leave the scene. One witness said the vehicle was a dark, gray, 4-door vehicle.

Sunday, June 24

At 7:01 a.m. a caller reported a stop sign that was knocked over on Dascomb Road.

At 8:37 a.m. a caller reported that he hit a parked car while driving a piece of farm equipment.

At 7:21 p.m. police arrested Juan P. Urbaez, 26, of 144 Boxford St., Lawrence, on Union Street. Urbaez was charged with a stop sign violation and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, subsequent offense.
