Andover's annual Clown Town Event Will Happen This Weekend.

The annual town event, Clown Town, will commence this Friday and Saturday. The event will feature carnival rides and games.

ANDOVER, MA — Andona's annual Clown Town event will happen this Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21.

The event, which kicks off Friday at 6 p.m, will be held at Central Park in downtown Andover. The festivities will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Clown Town will feature carnival rides and games, face paintings, arts and crafts, food vendors and more. Although vendors will close earlier on Saturday—at 4 p.m.— the carnival rides will be open until the festival ends. Money raised from the event will be for scholarships, summer events and youth programs for Andover children.

There will be 14 rides, most of which are suitable for small children. Residents will use Magic Money as a digital ticket to purchase carnival food, drinks and games. Patrons may buy Magic Money cards from kiosks throughout the park or use the Magic Money mobile app. One Magic Money ticket will cost $1, and if residents purchase $100 in tickets, they receive four free rides. Cash is still accepted at the Andona food tent, sand art, and kiddie game areas.
