College Planning for Students With Special Needs
The Memorial Hall library is hosting a presentation regarding options for special needs students after graduating high school.

The Andover Special Education Parents Advisory Council will host a presentation tomorrow titled "Planning for Success: College and Postsecondary Options for Students with Special Needs." The event runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Memorial Hall Library.
During the presentation, Renee LeWinter Goldberg, Ed.D., C.E.P will provide information about postsecondary options for students with special needs including college, transition programs, postgraduate year, understanding the student's learning profile, self-advocacy, and a grade 9-12 timeline.
Renee Goldberg, Ed.D, C.E.P. has spent more than 25 years in the field of education.
She has consulted to a number of academic institutions including Harvard University, Boston College, Bates College and Wheaton College. At Clark University, she established and created support services for students with learning disabilities, one of the first of its kind at a select university. Dr. Goldberg founded Educational Options, LLC, in 1992, with a special interest in students with learning disabilities and ADHD.
