ANDOVER, MA — The Andover Dog Park, located at 288 High Plain Road, will close for the season beginning Wednesday, October 15, to allow for the construction of planned improvements to the site. The Dog Park will remain closed throughout the fall and winter and is anticipated to reopen in spring 2026.

Improvements to the Dog Park are being supported by a grant from the Stanton Foundation, received by the Town of Andover, to fund the design and construction of upgrades to the site. Planned improvements aim to increase the park’s safety, usability, and value to the community and will include enhanced surfacing, agility features, shaded seating areas, and accessibility upgrades. The Town presented plans for the site during a community meeting held at the Dog Park in May.
