Employee Allegedly Caught Doing Drugs in Parking Lot

The police logs for Tuesday, Feb. 22, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Tuesday, Feb 22

At 2:28 a.m. an officer reported that the letters “DED” were spraypainted on the back of the Elizabeth Grady unit in Old Andover Village on Main Street.

At 5:35 a.m. a caller reported a man going through mailboxes on Bellevue Road. An officer did not locate anybody, but felt it was most likely a paperboy.

At 1:18 p.m. an employee at a Minuteman Road business said that damage was done to a common area the night before.

At 1:47 p.m. a caller reported that puppies were loose on Red Spring Road. The animal control officer was given both dogs by an officer and is taking them to the animal hospital.

At 3:46 p.m. a motor vehicle accident was reported on Central Street. No injuries were reported.

At 5:38 p.m. a security guard on Shattuck Road reported an employee doing drugs in his car in the parking lot. The employee was back inside working by the time the officer arrived. The employee was summonsed for possession of a class A substance, which is heroin.
