Female Loses Car in Downtown Andover

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.

Thursday, Sept. 6

At 1 p.m. a caller reported a male in his 30s that was in the mailbox for her house on Brown Street. An officer located the indidivdual and found that he was a delivery man that had the wrong house.

At 2:03 p.m. a caller reported cars blocking the entrance the high school.

At 5:08 p.m. police arrested Jose Alfredo Pineda, 37, of 12 Proctor St., Apt. 1 Haverhill, on Essex Street. Pineda was charged with being a fugitive from justice on a government warrant.

At 5:55 p.m. a caller reported that a vehicle hit her car while it was parked at Palmers Restaurant on Elm Street. She was able to copy the vehicle's license plate number.

At 11:58 p.m. a caller reported her car stolen on Main Street. She said she had parked it in the parking lot to CVS and it was gone. An officer reported that she had parked it in front of Palmers and that he called a cab for the female.

Wednesday, Sept. 5

At 8:53 a.m. Tewksbury Police reported an accident on Dascomb Road. No injuries were reported.

At 1:21 p.m. a caller reported that a laptop was stolen from Phillips Medical on Minuteman Road.

At 3:31 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious man looking into motor vehicles on Dascomb Road. An officer did not see the individual upon arrival.

At 3:49 p.m. a caller reported that she was almost hit by a cyclist coming out of Perfecto's the other day. An officer found the cyclist and spoke with him and his mother.

At 5:04 p.m. a caller reported a house break on Greenwood Road.

At 8:53 p.m. multiple 911 callers reported a fight outside on Longwood Drive between three adults and two children. Police came back to the station with one adult male in protective custody.

Tuesday, Sept. 4

At 11:29 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Main Street.

At 12:49 p.m. police arrested Lee D Silva, 30, of 30 Fountain St., Apt. 3, Haverhill, on Colonial Drive. Silva was charged with the violation of an abuse prevention order.

At 5:37 p.m. a caller reported that his two license plates were stolen off of his motor vehicle today on Locke Street.

At 11:10 p.m. police arrested Harrison D. Cobb, 17, of 179 Summer St., on Ann's Lane. Cobb was charged with possessing liquor as a person under 21, assault, resisting arrest and misleading an officer.
