Female Reportedly Punches Motor Vehicle on Woburn Street

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.

Friday, Aug. 31

At 11:10 a.m. police arrested Thomas G. Perez, 52, of 239 Phioneas St., Dracut, on Kenilworth Street. Perez was charged with being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked licenses, subsequent offense and an unregistered motor vehicle.

At 11:39 a.m. police arrested Mary L. Lopiano, 26, of 205 Oakland Ave., Methuen, on Lowell Street. Lopiano was charged with receiving stolen property under $250 and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

At 11:58 a.m. a caller reported a small head on collision between two cars on Dascomb Road. No injuries were reported.

At 1:42 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 93.

At 6:24 p.m. a caller reported that a female punched his car while he was stopped along Woburn Street. She fled in a vehicle and the caller wrote down the plate number. The man did not want to press charges but wanted police to speak with her. An officer was planning to contact the driver.

Saturday, Sept. 1

At 12:01 a.m. a caller reported someone trying to steal construction equipment on Greenwood Road. An officer check the area and everything seemed secure.

At 3:22 a.m. an officer spoke with two individuals parked at the South School on Woburn Street. The officer spoke with them about trespassing and moved them along.

At 9:36 a.m. a caller reported a brush fire on High Street. Construction workers ended up pouring water on the brush and put out the fire.

At 5:45 p.m. a caller reported a group going door to door selling something on Corbett Street. An officer spoke with the group and informed them that they needed permits.

Sunday, Sept. 2

At 3:34 p.m. a caller reported that he saw a person in his business through his security camera that was fired recently and was worried about his intentions. An officer reported that the business was secure.

At 4:21 p.m. a caller reported an erratic operator on South Main Street. An officer checked the area but did not locate the subject.

At 11:27 p.m. police arrested Luis O. Difo, 23, 15 Brook St., Methuen, on Interstate 495. Difo was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, a stop sign violation and failure to stop.
