Five things you need to know today, Wednesday, April 27.

Before you start your Wednesday, here are 5 things you should know:

1. Get involved in your town and go to. The Annual Town Meeting will be held in the Collins Center for the Performing Arts at Andover High School.

2.. The Senior Center will hold a showing of This film, made during Civil War re-enactments in Lexington and Concord, covers life in a civil war camp and medical treatment for troops. Infused with civil war-period music, it explores women‘s roles in battles against the British. Dan Trembley is the filmmaker. Please bring a brown bag lunch. Registration is required, call 978-623-8321 It is $2 to attend, the price covers a dessert and beverage.

4. If you haven't tried this weekly walk yet, today's weather will be perfect for it. Head to Harold Parker State Forest every Wednesday at 10 a.m. – meet at the headquarters at 305 Middleton Rd., North Andover.  This is a moderately-paced walk appropriate for all ages.  Wear walking footwear; bring water and sunscreen as appropriate. For more information call (617) 828-1728 or visit www.mass.gov/dcr.
