Grant to Clean Field Pond: Anybody who has been brave enough to take a dip in Field Pond can tell you that the state-owned body of water has its share of creepy, slimey plants hiding in the water. Well, many may be happy to know that the state awarded a grant Wednesday to clean some of those invasive species.

Gas Prices: Gas at the Lukoil at Route 125 and Salem Road has dropped dramatically and is now at the lowest price. Check it out below. Here are some of the lowest and most current unleaded gas prices in Andover according to autos.msn.com: Route 125 and Salem Street - $3.11/gallon. – $3.12/gallon. 205 North Main Street – $3.15/gallon.

Parking Ban Persists: With roads still very narrow from the snow, the winter parking ban is still in effect and street parking is strictly prohibited. Parking tickets will be given out during day-to-day police enforcement. However, if your vehicle is impeding the town’s snow removal operations you’ll get a ticket and towed. Weather: Don’t get too excited but it may be even warmer today. The forecast calls for a mostly sunny day with a high near 47 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
