Food Truck Rules Up For Town Meeting Discussion

Planning Board has created bylaw for spring session.

Town Meeting will hold the rules and regulations of food truck operations in its hands this spring, with a bylaw proposed by the Planning Board.

The board discussed the bylaw at its meeting last week, opting to seek Annual Town Meeting approval for a new license and regulation process overseen by the Board of Selectmen.

The bylaw would ensure that food trucks are licensed in an “orderly fashion,” said Town Planner Jacki Byerly in a report in the Eagle-Tribune.
