Global Bubble Tea Shop Chain To Open Andover Location

ANDOVER, MA — A chain of bubble tea shops is planning to expand in Andover. Gong Cha is coming to a space downtown, according to its website.

The shop is listed as "coming soon" to 2 Elm Square, Suite 103. When it opens, the shop will have daily hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Gong Cha started in Taiwan and now has a number of locations in Massachusetts, including in Burlington, Cambridge, Lowell, and Marlborough.

The bubble tea business is described on its website as "an international beverage franchise specializing in freshly prepared premium tea, bubble tea and coffee."

Gong Cha now has over 2,000 stores in 23 countries.
