Gov. Patrick to Attend Navidea Ribbon Cutting June 7

Navidea Biopharmaceuticals, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on precision diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals, will open its new business and commercialization facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Andover, Massachusetts.  The event is part of a series of Massachusetts life sciences growth announcements taking place in the days prior to the BIO International Convention, which opens June 18^th at the Massachusetts Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston.

Governor Deval Patrick will join representatives from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, MassEcon, MassBio, and Navidea Biopharmaceuticals executives and company employees to celebrate this local-economy milestone, the Company’s expanding U.S. presence and its commitment to meet the needs of physician and patient communities by providing innovative radiopharmaceutical products to improve diagnosis and patient care.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Navidea Biopharmaceuticals, Inc., 10 New England Business Center, Suite 112
