Haverhill Man Charged with Cocaine, Heroin Distribution

Friday, Dec. 30
- At 11:51 a.m. a domestic incident involving a juvenile son and parents was reported on Poor Street. The young male was arrested for assault and battery on a household member.
- At 12:51 p.m. a hit and run was reported on Main Street.
- At 1:31 p.m. the Boston Sports Club on Lowell Street reported a larceny from a locker.
- At 4:21 p.m. the environmental police received a call about two men fighting over a deer near the power lines on High Plain Road. By the time officers arrived, the situation was resolved.

- At 5:10 a.m. police arrested (removed), (removed). (Removed) was charged with four counts of breaking and entering nighttime for felony and four counts of larceny under $250.
- At 5:33 a.m. police arrested James J. Kerrigan, Jr., 18, of 52 Enmore St., on North Main Street. Kerrigan was charged with four counts of breaking and entering nighttime for a felony and four counts of larceny under $250.
- At 8:51 a.m. a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle was reported on Rennie Drive.
- At 3:25 p.m. a caller reported a larceny from a motor vehicle that occurred overnight on Strawberry Hill Road.
Sunday, Jan. 1
- At 1 p.m. a caller reported that her purse was stolen while at work on Post Office Avenue.
- At 1:58 p.m. police arrested Juan Rivera, 32, of 86 Franklin St., Haverhill, on River Road. Rivera was charged with distribution of a class A substance, distribution of a class B substance, possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute, possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute, the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and giving a false name during booking.

- At 7:36 a.m. a few people walked into the police station to report car break-ins overnight on High Street.
- At 8:27 a.m. police reported vandalism at the High Plain Elementary School on High Plain Road.
- At 12:42 p.m. police reported a parked car with steamed up windows. An officer checked out the vehicle and said the occupants are fine and were moved along.
- At 10:32 p.m. a caller reported that someone broke into his house on Woodhaven Drive. He said that there was damage to his master bedroom.
