Horses Loose on Launching Road

Wednesday, Aug. 24
At 1:40 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle in the area possibly damaging mailboxes on Cross Street and River Road.

At 8:35 a.m. an officer reported a sinkhole on Ridge Street. National Grid was notified.
At 10:45 a.m. a caller reported three horses that are roaming the streets in the area of Launching Road. The police assisted the owner in looking for the animals. They were eventually found and brought back.
At 3:45 p.m. a caller reported that a friend stole a box of her medications on River Road.

At 10:35 p.m. police responded to a report of a house party on Memorial Circle and witnessed kids running out the back door. Police eventually arrested Miller Martin, 17, of 26 High Plain Road, on Memorial Circle. Martin was charged with disorderly conduct.
At 10:33 p.m. a caller reported a gunshot in the area of Salem Street.
