Internationally Renowned Makeup Artist Moves Headquarters to Andover
Makeup artist's brush has touched some of Hollywood's most famous faces including Ellen Pompeo, Tom Selleck and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Renowned makeup artist David Nicholas recently announced that DNI has moved its headquarters to 18 Park St. in Andover.
Renovations on the second floor Studio were recently completed and the new space includes a private brow bar, a makeup Instruction Area for individuals or groups and a fully-equipped photography studio.
Nicholas started his company more than 35 years ago and his brush has touched some of Hollywood’s most famous faces including Ellen Pompeo, Tom Selleck, Sarah Jessica Parker, Chaz Bono and the late Joan Rivers.

Beyond the glamour lies an entrepreneur who is dedicated to improving the lives of people who aren’t always comfortable in front of cameras. Nicholas is a pioneer in the development of reconstructive and corrective makeup application and he has often donated his time and talents to help burn victims, cancer patients and clients with skin disorders including vitiligo, hyper-pigmentation and facial scars put their best face forward.
Nicholas has also developed DNI Cosmetics, a consumer-friendly line of professional cosmetics that crosses the boundaries of race, age and gender.

Later this month, Nicholas will partner with Mass General Hospital for a Private Makeup Clinic for women with breast cancer in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“Nothing is more gratifying than helping people recognize and embrace their beauty,” Nicholas said in a news release. “It’s not about transforming a face, it’s about boosting self-esteem and building confidence and that’s what I see when my clients look in the mirror.”
Nicholas was recently named Resident Makeup Artist for the Mansion at Turner Hill in Ipswich where his special touch brightens the faces of brides, friends and families. Later this week, he and his team will prepare more than 80 looks for models walking the runway at Northshore Magazine’s Fall Fashion Affair.
