WOBURN, MA — After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Andover so you can start planning now.

Pancake Breakfast & Holiday Spirit Parade

Where: Robb Center, 30 Whittier Court

When: 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., July 4

The Parade starts at 10:30 a.m., but the Town recommends arriving early to get a good viewing spot. Immediately after the parade, head to the Gazebo in the Park for a Fourth of July Program.

4th of July Road Race

Where: North Andover Common

When: The Kids Fun Run kicks off at 8 a.m., followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m.

Online registration closes July 2 at 5 p.m. Registration fees range from $5 to $45. The first 1,000 runners to cross the finish line will receive participant medals.

Town of Merrimack Fireworks Display

Where: Merrimack High School

When: 9 p.m., July 4

The fireworks will also be visible from Watson Park. Earlier in the day, Merrimack is hosting a pancake breakfast, its Annual Sparkler 5K Road Race and a parade.
