Last Chance: Deadlines You Need to Know

Welcome to Last Chance, a new feature that will provide a list of upcoming deadlines that you may want to know about.

We’ll feature the latest deadlines to take a class, join a bus trip to Foxwoods or register to vote.

Here is a list of important dates that Andover residents will want to know this week.

Commuinty Service Award: The last day to nominate and individual for the Virginia Cole Community Service Award is April 6. Nominations should be returned to the Town Manager’s Office at 36 Bartlet Street, Andover, MA 01810 no later than April 6.

Free Tickets: The last day to obtain free tickets to the U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty on Thursday, April 19 at 7 p.m. in the Collins Center is April 11. To obtain free tickets to this event please stop by the Veterans’ Services Office, or mail a self addressed stamped envelope to the Veterans’ Services Office at 36 Bartlet Street, Andover, MA 01810 before April 11th. Please indicate how many tickets you need (limit 6 per request).

Dog License: Starting on the first of March, the Andover Town Clerk's office has been charging an additional $5 per month on top of the $14 fee to renew your dog's license. To obtain a license by mail, forward your dog's rabies certificate and a check for $14.00 made payable to the Town of Andover to: Town Clerk's Office, 36 Bartlet Street, Andover, MA 01810. You can also obtain a license at the Town Clerk's office.

Register for Town Meeting: The last day to register for Town Meeting is Tuesday, April 10. The Town Clerk's office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on that day.
