Lawrence Man Charged with Assault in Domestic Incident

Tuesday, Feb. 14

At 12:53 a.m., police arrested Savier Carrasquillo, 28, of 661 Essex St., Lawrence, on Memorial Circle. Carrasquillo was charged with assault and battery on a household member, assault with a dangerous weapon, destruction of property over $250, larceny over $250, intimidation of a witness and threatening to commit a crime.

At 8 a.m., a caller reported a two-car crash on River Road. No injuries were reported.

At 11:18 a.m., a parking enforcement officer reported placing a boot on a motor vehicle on Central Street.

At 2:19 p.m., a caller reported there were tree logs blocking the roadway on Candlewood Drive. An officer reports that a tree company took care of it.

At 6:58 p.m., the state highway department reported that none of the lights at the Dascomb Road Park and Ride were working.

At 7:56 p.m., an employee at reported an intoxicated man  threatening the manager. An officer reported that he took the man home to his brother’s house.
