Lawrence Police Investigating Apparent Homicide

LAWRENCE, MA — Officials are investigating the apparent homicide Thursday of an unidentified woman in Lawrence, Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett and Lawrence Police Chief Roy Vasque said Friday.

Lawrence police responded to a 911 call for an unresponsive woman on the corner of Haverhill and Franklin Streets around 11 p.m. Thursday.

The woman's death is being treated as an apparent homicide, the officials said.

Lawrence and state police and the Essex District Attorney's Office are investigating the woman's death.
