Merrimack Valley Transit Restoring Boston Commuter Service
The weekday bus line to Boston is resuming service Sept. 7, but with fewer Boston stops.
ANDOVER, MA — The Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority is restoring its weekday Boston commuter bus route, the authority said Wednesday.
The line was canceled early in Aug. but will resume service Sept. 7.
The Boston Commuter Service travels on weekdays from Methuen, Lawrence and Andover to Boston.

When the bus line resumes, three Boston stops will no longer be serviced: Park Street, Park Place South and Bedford Street.
The cancellation was due to low ridership, the authority said.
