Monday Essentials: 5 Things to Know in Andover This Week
Your local scoop on the week ahead.

As we inch closer to autumn, the weather is cooling off a little, with temperatures expected to be in the low 70s at the start of the week. But summer may be persistent later in the week as temperatures rise to the high 80s.
On Monday, the Board of Selectmen will meet with the School Committee and Finance Committee at 7 p.m. at the School Administration Building.
The Board of Selectmen will meet again on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Water Treatment Plant Conference Room on Lowell Street.
On Wednesday, there will be "High Tea and History: Andover's Early Schools," at 2 p.m. at the Center at Punchard. Local historian Julie Pike will discuss the changing history of the Center and some of Andover's early schools.
On Friday, explore history again at the Center at Punchard for "Men's Breakfast: The Vietnam War," at 8:30 a.m. First Lt. Joseph Leone will discuss the daily life on infantrymen during the Vietnam War.
