1. Andover Crash On Interstate 93 Kills New Hampshire Man

A Manchester, NH, man died during in a 3-vehicle crash in September. Lawrence and Malden residents were also injured in the accident.

2. Andover Teen Suspended, Tuition Lost For UMass Mask Violation

The parents of the Andover teen said in May that their daughter was one of three freshmen punished for posting a maskless photo on social media. The parents told the station the punishment was overly harsh — especially because the school itself held a celebration event after the UMass men's hockey team won the national championship in April where videos show social distancing and some mask guidelines were not always followed.

3. Andover's Shawsheen Luncheonette Closing As Owners Retire

Bryan and Amy Guay announced in August that they would be retiring and closing their local favorite on Aug. 29, they said. But the next month, restauranter Peter Ahn said he was buying the restaurant. It reopened in early December.

4. Andover Doctor Charged With Secretly Filming Sex: Report

An Andover doctor, formerly a Lahey Hospital employee, was arraigned in April for two counts of illegal wiretapping, the Townsman reported.
