DANVERS
Customers can expect the same great quality and customer service the Torrances were known for at their former franchise, with the added advantage of shopping right out of their homes.
The Torrances have lived in Danvers for more than two decades, raising their daughter, Kimberley, a recent college graduate, here. The couple, who are both originally from Peabody, decided to open their window decor shop due to Lynn's special knack for home decorating

, owner of Solar Infusions on High Street, is running a new promotion to help folks continue catching the rays. Starting Aug. 13, customers will enjoy unlimited tanning for just $88 through the end of 2012.
“It’s a great deal,” he said. “People are getting about four and a half months for a really good price.”
Lejeune explained that many Solar Infusions clients begin tanning for cosmetic reasons. But when they discover the health benefits, he’s found, they continue with sessions.
SALEM
John Andrews, formerly the head chef and general manager at , now calls himself a "PR handyman," and he's taken on his new job with a love for business and the community.
"What I'm trying to do is really shed a spotlight on Salem, which in turn is benefitting my clients," he said. "I have a customer perspective and I also have a back of the house perspective…I can look at it from both sides of the fence."
And that perspective, according to Andrews, shifts depending on the client.

PEABODY
Shoe retailer DSW (Designer Shoes Warehouse) is opening a Peabody location in the. The mall says the store will be located in the lower level by the Food Court.
No formal announcement has been made yet either by DSW or Simon Property Group, which manages the mall, but the store was included in a lineup of tenants coming soon to the Northshore Mall that was posted last week on the mall's Facebook page.

Palumbo, restaurant staff and city officials officially snipped the ribbon at on Friday, celebrating the new establishment in South Peabody., but Palumbo said Friday was an opportune time to invite friends and city officials back down to eat and celebrate.
He said a number of the guests had already been there several times since the restaurant opened nine weeks ago at 139 Lynnfield St. and residents in the neighborhood have quickly become regulars
ANDOVER
Snow-Tech, Inc., a full-service commercial snow removal and ice contractor based in Chicago, announced that it has expanded snow operations to the New England region, specifically Andover. The move will enable Snow-Tech to broaden its commercial portfolio and align with their goal of becoming a complete facility maintenance provider.
MARBLEHEAD
in the former home of the clothing store on Atlantic Avenue.
The opening means owner Ellyn Gimbel is currently accepting orders for specialty cakes and dessert tables.
Gimbel said the cake studio, located at 40 Atlantic Ave., will be similar in concept to the much-acclaimed television shows Cake Bossand Ace of Cakes.
EVERYONE CAN USE
Target stores across the region are giving schools a shot at winning many $25 gift cards. Target, with a nearby location in Danvers at Liberty Tree Mall, is giving away a $25 gift card to schools each time the school gets 25 votes on the "Give with Target" app on its Facebook page. It is limited to one vote per person, per week so it really takes a broad group of support to rack up a few gift cards for your school. It includes both public and private schools.
