New Year's Eve Crash Kills Two

Two men were killed in after a police chase in the early hours of Wednesday morning after a chase through Lawrence, State Police report.

Cesar Rodriguez, 19, of Lawrence, and Quadeer Dicks, 19, of Lowell, were traveling in an Acura on Route 28 in Lawrence, with police trying to pull them over for speeding.

The chase continued into Andover, where the Acura crashed. Both men were taken to nearby hospitals and died shortly after.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
