N.H. Woman Charged with Trafficking Heroin

It was good old-fashioned police work that resulted in the arrest of one woman and the seizure of over an ounce of heroin.

A New Hampshire woman may be facing prison time after Andover Police discovered over an ounce of heroin in her vehicle Wednesday.

During a routine motor vehicle stop on Haverhill Street in the early afternoon, Andover Police Officer Jake Delaney recognized a suspicious smell coming from the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, Delaney found both heroin and marijuana, which was individually packaged.

Police then arrested operator Anny Cruz, 28, 247 Concord St., Manchester, N.H. Cruz was charged with possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute and trafficking heroin.
