Pizza Connection to Open Soon in Downtown

Andover may have recently lost My Brothers Pizza but a new pizza shop is right around the corner from opening in downtown Andover.

The Pizza Connection will be opening up in the former Dominos Pizza location. Dominos Pizza moved to the unit next to the former Yama Japanese Restaurant on Park Street.

According to health director Tom Carbone, the owners have already gotten all construction permits from the town and are now working on preparing the interior of the store.

Carbone said as soon as they are finished with the inside construction, they plan to open.

"We are waiting for them to finish that up. Then we will do our final inspections," said Carbone.

He said that the last time he checked they had been installing the refrigeration units.

Carbone said the eatery will be a typical pizza shop with pizza and subs.

"Hopefully, they’ll be open be soon," said Carbone.
