Pomps Pond Opening Early?

The police log for Monday, March 28 contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Monday, March 28

At 6:48 a.m. an officer reported a possibly stolen vehicle on Campanelli Road. The vehicle turned out to not be stolen.

At 8:16 a.m. a minor motor vehicle accident was reported on Interstate 93.

At 11:52 a.m. the gate at Pomps Pond was unlocked and opened without knowledge of the town. Town workers closed the gate, but the lock was missing. The Plant and Facilities Department staff were notified.

At 1:44 p.m. a road rage incident was reported on Route 125.

At 1:46 p.m. an anonymous caller reported a possible drug transaction on Minuteman Road. An officer could not locate the vehicle in question.

At 2:11 p.m. a caller reported that they believed their home was broken into last night on Chester Street.  

At 7:11 p.m. a Chestnut Street man reported a raccoon in his basement. An officer reported that the raccoon was put down.

At 7:37 p.m. a caller reported that her bank account was accessed fraudulently on Ballardvale Road. An officer filed the incident.
