School Bus Rear-Ended on Bellevue Road

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Wednesday, Jan. 16

At 5:51 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident involving a public transportation van at the entrance to the IRS on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported.

At 7:09 a.m. a three-car crash was reported on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported.

At 7:20 a.m. a school bus occupied with children was rear-ended on Bellevue Road. No injuries were reported. The other motor vehicle as towed.

At 9:25 a.m. a caller reported that a plow hit a manhole cover and now it is open on Woburn Street. The Public Works responded a got the cover back on the hole.

At 4:07 p.m. a one-car accident with injuries was reported on Gray Road.

At 4:30 p.m. a caller reported a stolen car on Washington Park Drive. Police found out that it was repossessed.

At 8:09 p.m. a caller reported that someone used her credit card without authorization on Berkeley Lane.

Thursday, Jan. 17

At 5:52 a.m. Andover Fire and Rescue responded to a possible fire on Apache Avenue after getting a call about an odor of smoke in a home.

At 7:27 a.m. a caller reported that all four tires were stolen off his motor vehicle on Bulfinch Drive.

At 9:18 a.m. another caller reported that all four tires were stolen from her motor vehicle.

At 10:35 a.m. a caller reported identity theft on North Main Street.

At 4:24 p.m. a large pothole was reported on Haverhill Street.

At 5:09 p.m. a hit and run was initially reported on Main Street in the dowtown area. However, it appeared that a note was left on the vehicle.
