The town’s Greater Boston Science and Math Team will advance to the National Science Bowl finals in Washington, D.C. in April.
The team won its regional competition in January, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
The national competition is a “fast-paced question-and-answer format” of questions ranging “science disciplines including biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math.”

The The top 16 high school teams and the top eight middle school teams in the National Finals will win $1,000 for their schools’ science departments.
