Selectman Teichert Not Running for Reelection

During communications at the Board of Selectmen's meeting Monday night, selectman Ted Teichert has some important news to tell: this term will be his last.

Teichert breifly announced that he will not be running for reelection for his position on the Board of Selectmen this fall. He has been on the board for over a decade.

"After 12 years, I will not be seeking reelection for this position," said Teichert.

Teichert spend only a minute or two talking about his decision and basically said that after his many years on the board he has decided to call it quits. This Feburary, Teichert said, will be 12 years.

Other selectmen thanked him for his time on the board, as well as Town Manager Buzz Stapczynski.

"Thank you for your service," said Stapczynski.
