Sheriff Releases Photos of Inmates Who Walked Away From Minimum Security Correctional Center
The inmates walked away from the Lawrence Correctional Alternative Center on Wednesday.
LAWRENCE, MA – The two inmates who walked away from the Lawrence Correctional Alternative Center on Wednesday have been identified in photos released by Sheriff Frank Cousins.
The sheriff's department is working to capture the pair after they walked away from the minimum security facility Wednesday afternoon.
Manuel Perez, 22, of Puerto Rico, is a pretrial inmate facing car theft charges, and Levi Montalvo, 23, of Puerto Rico, is also a pretrial inmate facing charges in connection with the violation of an abuse prevention order.

According to a news release, both men have family connections in Lawrence. Perez has tattoos on his left and right hands, including the Puerto Rican flag on his right hand. Montalvo has tattoos of skulls on his abdomen, back and left arm.
They are not violent offenders, but the public is urged not to approach anyone resembling Perez and Montalvo. Anyone with information on the men should call 978-750-1900, ext: 3302.
