Teens Allegedly Set Two Fires; First Fire Was Four Days Before 7-Alarm Mill Fire
Four juveniles were ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.

Four Haverhill juveniles were arraigned on Thursday at Lawrence Juvenile Court in connection with two fires at 30 Stevens Street in Haverhill on Sept. 16 and Sept. 20..
The four juveniles were ordered held without bail by Judge Jose Sanchez. The juveniles were held pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Sept. 30.

- A 15-year old male is charged with burning a building and breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony.
- A 14-year old male is charged with burning a building, burning a dwelling, and breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony.
- 15- and a 16-year old males are charged with two counts of burning a building; burning a dwelling and two counts of breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony.
On Sept. 16, at approximately 2:20 pm, the Haverhill Fire Department responded to a fire at 30 Stevens St. in Haverhill. The fire was contained to a small area in the abandoned building and was deemed suspicious.

On Sept. 20 at approximately 4:55 pm, the Haverhill Fire Department responded to a fire at the same location. The fire was large and required the efforts of 30 area Fire Departments over three day to suppress the fire. During the course of the fire, a nearby residential building at 9 Granville Court, sustained damage and the property at 30 Stevens Street was destroyed.
No further information be released due to the fact that the allegations involve juveniles. They are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
