TELL US: Who Makes a Difference in Andover?

Your neighbor who volunteers at the library, your child’s bus driver, and the Little League coach in your community may not seem to have much in common at first glance.

But Patch’s new initiative, Count Us In, aspires to bring together all Good Samaritans by highlighting residents who are exemplary at making your community a more positive place.

And the town of Andover is full of organizations with dedicated staff and volunteers that make the community a better place. Volunteers and exceptional individuals throughout town can be found at the Andover Senior Center, Andover Town Offices, elementary schools and the high school.

There are dozens of people such as Bill Fahey, the director of Andover Youth Services who has made an impact the town's youth and was instrumental, among many others, in bringing a new youth center to the town. Memorial Hall Library, Andover SHED, the Andover Trails Association and many other organizations provide valuable services to the community and those could not be provided without these individuals.

Partnering with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (HPHC), Count Us In aims to illustrate HPHC's values. They believe that “amazing things happen when people work together” and that is why we want to share stories about just that.
