Thousands Without Power, School Delayed In Andover
A powerful Nor'easter that moved in overnight has left thousands without electricity in Andover.

ANDOVER, MA — A powerful storm that brought heavy wind, rain, and snow to the region has left more than 26,000 customers without power.
A National Grid map shows that 3,690 of those without power are in Andover.
Andover Public Schools are also operating on a two-hour delay.

The district released the following statement: "Due to the anticipated timing of today’s storm and the expectation of difficult travel this morning, Andover Public Schools will have a 2 -hour delay, today, Thursday, April 4, 2024. There will be no morning preschool. Thank you."
A total of 2 inches of snow fell in Andover, according to the National Weather Service.
