Town Employee Rear-Ended on Main Street

Wednesday, Feb. 3

At 12:22 a.m. an Osgood Street resident reported a motor vehicle at the end of her street circling and beeping their horn as well as getting in and out of the car and walking around. Police report that a couple was just looking for a contact lense.

At 6:45 a.m. a caller reported a suspicious male that has been hanging around a school bus stop on Rutgers Road and just returned again. Officers checked the area but could not located the man's vehicle.

At 7:02 a.m. the IRS reported someone video taping the building on Route 133. The man was supposedly performing a traffic study.

At 12:51 p.m. A Water Department employee reported that an elderly driver rear-ended him in his town vehicle on Main Street and then drove away. He followed her to a home on Old South Lane. Police were notified and took photos.

At 1:32 p.m. a caller reported that she was bitten by a small dog outside of the Skating Rink on South Main Street.

At 3:49 p.m. a motor vehicle accident was reported on Dascomb Road. No injuries were reported.
