Town Ready to Approve Housing Project Next Saturday

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on Saturday, Dec. 8, to vote on a housing project at the Rolling Green off Lowell Street.

A 224-unit housing project off Route 133 may get final approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals next Saturday and add a total of 56 more affordable housing units in the town of Andover. The Zoning Board is expected to approve the project during their meeting Dec. 8, according to an article in the Eagle Tribune.

The project, first proposed over a year ago, will consist of two, four-story buildings being built on 20-acres. Roughly 27 acres of land will be given to the town in an area around Fish Brook and the developer will be providing $150,000 for roadway improvements along Route 133.

Traffic lights will be added at the intersection of Route 133 and the entrance to the project, located across from the IRS at the Boston Sports Gym entrance.
