What's Happening with the Town Yard?
The selectmen are discussing how to approach the town yard project differently after the majority of the board voted to table the project at Town Meeting this past spring. They recently discussed the possibility of building the Town Yard in different modules, meaning that different functions at the Town Yard can be split up between multiple sites.
With members of the Town Yard task force, selectmen discussed the feasibility of moving around different Town Yard functions such as the salt shed, highway garage, water shop and tree department.

They have been discussing putting the different pieces on sites on Red Spring Road, Forest Street, Ledge Road, Campanelli Road and Lewis Street.
